Capture the attention and interest of the student.
A motivational video presents an initial familiar situation to the student with some starting concepts and a cognitive conflict. Next, an activity about the video activates the student's prior knowledge.

Put in practice concepts and procedures.
In this section we propose a task which consists of a new activity-problem that has to be solved. The proposal requires the application in the new contexts of the concepts.
Explore
Build up new ideas through discovery.
A guided investigation activity challenges students' knowledge and initial concepts. In this phase, we find virtual experiments, interactive explorations, predicting-observing-explaining activities, video activities, etc.
Evaluate
Review and evaluate new knowledge.
To finish, the unit presents a video that reviews the main concepts learned. Finally, it provides a self-correcting test.

Formally present the concepts and exercise them.
